His lyrical waxing “I’m bringing disgrace upon the household / I’m calling out the reality as I see.” between his cousin in rehab and his questionable auntie, Kenton ponders why he’s seen because the black sheep just because he’s open about his sexuality. He ponders, why “am I the drama?”
“Soiled Laundry” is produced and co-written by Eric Cannata (Younger the Big), combined by Neal Avron (Twenty One Pilots, Sara Bareilles), and mastered by Ruairi O’Flaherty (Sabrina Carpenter, Billie Eilish).
“I’ve at all times felt responsible for placing private issues in my songs, as a result of my father, a pastor, must reply to his congregation about his ‘wild homosexual son.’ My mum or dad’s biggest concern is that as a result of I work in leisure, I’m going to finish up intercourse trafficked and hooked on medicine.
