This four-track new traditional rock gem channels the vitality of the style’s golden period whereas tackling themes as timeless as a dusty Western duel and as trendy as AI’s looming shadow over society.
The EP’s title monitor, I’m Your Huckleberry Now, attracts inspiration from the long-lasting line delivered by Val Kilmer’s Doc Holliday within the beloved Western Tombstone. Finamore displays on the viral web obsession with Kilmer’s legendary scene, weaving it right into a cautionary story about synthetic intelligence difficult humanity’s future, like a modern-day Johnny Ringo staring down society in a high-stakes gunfight.
