The Grammy-nominated “Right here We Go,” which samples Lenny Williams‘ “Trigger I Love You,” spent seven weeks at No. 1 on the Grownup R&B Airplay chart. It marked Jones’ first chief on the chart. “Style,” which samples Britney Spears’ “Poisonous,” is in its peak place at No. 13 in its thirteenth week on the chart.

Relating to her debut album, Jones defined, “Why Not Extra? is the query I’ve been asking myself in hopes of understanding me and rising in confidence. This album is about leaning into whoever you’re proper now with out worrying about who you’ve been or who you need to be sooner or later. Authenticity won’t ever lead you to the incorrect place, so why not lean in?”

Jones is supporting her new album on her Why Not Extra? Tour with particular visitors TA Thomas and Girl London. The tour kicked off Tuesday (Could 6) in Philadelphia, with upcoming stops in Baltimore, Boston, Brooklyn, Toronto and Chicago to call a couple of. The trek concludes Sept. 19 at Roundhouse in London.

Circling again to the album, Jones launched Why Not Extra? (Prolonged) on Could 2, which included three bonus tracks: “Is It Mine” that includes Girl London, “Management Freak” and “Style – Stay from the TERRELL SHOW / 2025.”
