David Bowie and Iman’s daughter Lexi Jones has quietly launched her debut album ‘Xandri’. Test it out under.
The LP was launched on Wednesday (April 2) and adopted weeks of Jones sharing snippets of varied tracks on her Instagram account, corresponding to ‘Standing alone’, ‘Shifting on’, and ‘By on a regular basis’, alongside video clips from her childhood.
Spanning 12 songs and 47 minutes, the album incorporates parts of pop, digital and indie rock, with 24-year-old Jones’ – born Alexandria Zahra Jones – vocals on the forefront.
The art work, presumably created by Jones who can also be a visible artist, depicts two faces connected to the identical head, trying to separate away from one another. In the meantime, ‘Xandri’, the album’s title, comes from the Greek title that means “defender of mankind”.
