Seattle loss of life rock/goth steel experts, Darkish Meditation, have returned with a model new six-song EP, The place the Darkness Bleeds, which we’re previewing in its entirety right here. The gloomy quintet—Adam Vick (vocals), Ryan Fitch (guitars), Ian E. Suppose Lords of the New Church and Mercyful Destiny roasting marshmallows and telling ghost tales round a flaming pentagram. Candy, darkish, smoky and harmful.

The place The Darkness Bleeds was recorded by drummer Will Klintberg together with extra manufacturing and mixing by Matt Bayles and mastering by Jamie Elton. The file will probably be launched digitally and on black vinyl (restricted to 100 copies) through Keep it up the Gloom Data. Place your preorder right here.

The band had this to say about its newest launch:

“The place The Darkness Bleeds got here collectively over the course of 2024. The file began off as a approach to breathe new life into songs from the Polluted Temples periods that weren’t used on the file, however after some transforming and the addition of latest materials it was rather more. Themes of affection, lust, betrayal and particularly the second main as much as loss of life and the fast aftermath grew to become obvious. Whereas nonetheless drawing from our major influences, a deeper musical exploration led to an enlargement of our core sound and the subsequent part and refinement of the album took type. This file represents our most poignant and harrowing assertion thus far.”
