The mics have been on when The R&B Invitation Tour hit Detroit  Saturday, Could 3, on the Fox Theatre.

Eric Benét’s mellifluous vocals opened the evening of nostalgia together with his dynamic vary of tenor and falsetto. Accompanied by a feminine vocalist, the four-time Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter sang fan faves equivalent to “I Wanna Be Liked,” “Georgie Porgy,”  “Spend My Life,” and “Typically I Cry.” Generally known as a jokester, the “Chocolate  Legs” crooner requested the gang in the event that they have been glad together with his efficiency “’trigger I do know Detroit don’t play that sh***,” he stated.  Gone are the times when he rocked the stage barefoot, as now he performs totally clothed, head to toe.
