Will Ramos of Lorna Shore has named his biggest heavy metallic vocal influences in a brand new interview with Metallic Hammer.
Speaking forward of Lorna Shore’s Obtain pageant set at Donington Park, UK final month, Ramos first provides a shout-out to Zack De La Rocha of infamous rap metallic dissidents Rage In opposition to The Machine.
“Completely unbelievable,” he says. “I grew up listening to these guys, so… massive fan of these guys!”
He goes on to acknowledge Cove Reber from US emo/post-hardcore act Saosin, adopted by Anders Fridén of Swedish melodeath frontrunners In Flames.
Ramos then mentions the youthful Sleep Token, whose songs Chokehold and Rain he’s coated previously. “If you recognize me, you recognize I like Sleep Token,” the singer declares. “I like Sleep Token – that’s my factor.”

Lorna Shore, one of many largest bands within the present American deathcore scene, shaped in 2009, and Ramos joined their lineup in 2021. Their first launch with the singer, the 2021 EP …And I Return To Nothingness, turned their breakthrough second, with the track To The Hellfire peaking at primary on the iTunes metallic chart.
The five-piece will launch their fifth album, second with Ramos, known as I Really feel The Everblack Festering Inside Me, on September 12 by way of Century Media. They are going to tour North America from September to October, with help coming from The Black Dahlia Homicide, Shadow of Intent and Peeling Flesh.
In January and February 2026, Lorna Shore will tour Europe to advertise their upcoming album, with help set to return from Whitechapel, Shadow Of Intent and Humanity’s Final Breath. The run will embrace considered one of their largest-ever headline concert events, going down at London’s 10,000-capacity Alexandra Palace on February 8.
