An American household’s plans to take their daughter to a Metallica present might have inadvertently saved their lives.
David and Kristin McKee say that they went to mattress sooner than common of their Goodview, Virginia residence on Could 6, as the subsequent day they had been going to drive their 14-year-old to a live performance by metallic’s greatest band at Lane Stadium in Blacksburg.
The early bedtime differed from the McKees’ common night plans of staying up late and watching TV of their front room. The change of schedule pulled them from the trail of an out-of-control pickup truck, which crashed by way of the entrance of their residence at about 2am the next day.
