-

And the gnarliest tune title this week goes to Philly loss of life steel grunt mob Moros, whose new observe, “Pulling Off Leeches,” we’re, uh, bloody thrilled to premiere. The trio of Jason Dost (guitar/vocals), John Hauser (bass/vocals) and Mike Howard (drums) pair their revolting tune title with equally gut-churning sludgy DM and ranting-lunatic vocals that sound like they have been recorded on the backside of a fucking nicely, which was little question swimming with leeches…

The brand new observe comes from the band’s upcoming four-song EP, Recrudescent Horror, which was engineered and blended by Jeff Barow at Barowtone Studios in Philadelphia throughout Spring/Summer season 2024, and mastered by A.P. at MSK01. Guitarist/vocalist Jason Dost had this to say in regards to the observe:

“‘Peeling Off Leeches’ is without doubt one of the first new songs we labored on with our new drummer Mike. John introduced in some actually slimy riffs for this one and lyrically it’s a wretched story about being engulfed by lethal leeches whereas within the midst of jungle warfare, resulting in a horrifying and suffocating demise.”
