Legendary R&B group New Version‘s fifth studio album, Coronary heart Break, shall be reissued on vinyl on Valentine’s Day (Feb. 14).
The 1988 album shall be pressed on customary 2LP black vinyl ($32.99) and on 2LP clear vinyl ($37.99). Each variations can be found for preorder.
Coronary heart Break was launched June 20, 1988, by way of MCA Information and peaked at No. 3 on Billboard‘s R&B Albums chart.
Months after the album’s launch, it was licensed platinum by the Recording Trade Affiliation of America (RIAA) for promoting over a million copies. It was later licensed 2x platinum in 1994 for exceeding two million gross sales within the U.S.
Coronary heart Break was the then-new member Johnny Gill‘s first album look following Bobby Brown‘s solo exit. (Coincidentally, Coronary heart Break was launched the identical day as Brown’s second solo album, Don’t Be Merciless.)
