Rick Buckler, drummer of The Jam, has died aged 69 after a brief sickness.

In a press release, his administration firm mentioned: “Rick Buckler handed away peacefully on Monday night in Woking after a brief sickness with household by his facet. Rick was a loving husband, father and grandfather and was a loyal buddy to many, who will probably be significantly missed.”

Buckler is fondly remembered for being the drummer with The Jam alongside guitarist/lead vocalist Paul Weller and bass participant Bruce Foxton.
