Grammy-nominated singer Ro James has launched his new single “On Me,” produced by Joe Craze and Casa Maya.
On the heartfelt monitor, which he co-wrote with Andrew Diaz, James laments over a fleeting love: “Look me in my eyes while you say cheese / That’s how I need you in my reminiscence / Preserve your fingers trying like your toes / Let me decide the shade / I would like that ’trigger you understand how it goes / Inform that to your pals / Since there’s all this weight I gotta maintain / I’m simply holding on till I fold.”
Talking on his new music, James wrote on Instagram, “Gratitude!!! A Rebirth! I did this one with My brothers @sircassmaya @andrewaandydiaz & @joecraze. It’s our first one collectively and I’m so proud of the particular Physique of labor.”
He added, “It’s trustworthy and was created with blood sweat and tears. In a time once I was questioning everybody and every little thing. lol I’d guess on US everytime.”
“On Me” is the follow-up to James’ 2024 monitor “Platonic,” his first music launch in 4 years. Talking on the latter monitor, James shared, “Created this [with] my bro/producer Brady Watt. Wished to discover the idea of connection with out having to be bodily and highlighting the great thing about platonic friendships.”
“Platonic” and “On Me” are anticipated to look on James’ forthcoming venture, which might be launched independently.
James’ launched in sophomore album, MANTIC, in 2020. The LP, launched through ByStorm Leisure/RCA Data, included singles similar to “Excuse Me,” “Sensitive Feely,” “Final Time” and “Too A lot” that includes Miguel. It featured further collaborations with Brandy (“Plan B“) and Masego (“Sluggish Down”).
Earlier this spring, James joined Tamar Braxton and October London on their October Nights: Calling All Lovers Tour. The 24-city U.S. tour wrapped up Might 31 in Oakland.
