SZA’s ‘SOS’ Spends one hundredth Week at No. 1 on Billboard’s Prime R&B Albums Chart

SZA‘s sophomore album, SOS, continues to make historical past on the Billboard charts. 

The 2022 album has reached a brand new milestone, logging its one hundredth nonconsecutive week at No. 1 on the Prime R&B Albums chart dated Jan. 11, 2025. Moreover, it extends its file because the longest-running No. 1 album on the chart.

SOS was launched Dec. 9, 2022, through Prime Dawg Leisure/RCA Data. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 318,000 equal items bought within the first week, marking SZA’s first No. 1 on that chart. It dominated the favored albums chart for 10 weeks. 

The Grammy-winning album was preceded by “Good Days,” “I Hate U,” and “Shirt.” It additionally included different hits reminiscent of “Kill Invoice” and “Snooze.” 

On April 19, SZA will kick off her co-headlining Grand Nationwide Tour along with her longtime collaborator and TDE affiliate Kendrick Lamar. The superstars will play throughout 19 stadiums in North America earlier than concluding June 18 in Washington, D.C.
