After Dizzy Heights – The Lightning Seeds’ fourth studio album, launched in November 1996 and reaching No.11 on the UK Albums Chart – Broudie’s profession stalled considerably when 1999’s Tilt failed to satisfy his personal and followers’ expectations. In Tomorrow’s Right here Immediately, he admits that he allowed himself to be steered by his document label, Epic, leading to an unfocused LP.
Broudie wouldn’t launch one other Lightning Seeds album for a decade, although there was a solo document, 2004’s Tales Advised, which was rather more downbeat and stripped-back than the music that had made him well-known.

After 4 Winds, Broudie didn’t launch a follow-up till 2022’s extra hopeful See You In The Stars. In a four-star evaluate, Traditional Pop’s Jon O’Brien wrote that the LP “performs like another best hits”.
