Useless Robes

159 songs, albums, and movies submitted this week for evaluation

Ain’t No Sunshine When She’s Gone, single by  Zora.  I used to be planning recommending Zora’s newest launch Filter (Reside), which I nonetheless do advocate – after I ran throughout her rendition of  Ain’t No Sunshine When She’s Gone,. I really like the tune and I really like the way in which she presents it. The California-born Hungarian -American has a  deep, resonant voice that’s brimming with self-confidence  and  lovely approachability no small feat. She makes Invoice Withers’ unique concurrently a dagger to  the guts, and an inspiration. Actually great. Test it out on Spotify and whose you’re there, see how she applies her astp0unding voice to the fiery lyrics of Lyrics (stay). Magnificent.

Within the haze, single by Useless Robes.  Portland, Maine-based musician Genevieve Beaudoin—- Useless Robes— has launched  “Within the Haze,” the second single from her forthcoming debut album It’s Summer time, I Love You, and I’m Surrounded by Snow.  She is exclusive with a compelling, wailing voice that contrasts with dreamlike guitars.  As acquired style for some, she is value buying. She ha quite a bit to say and she or he sys it with energy and feeling.  Stream, on all main platforms.

Para Que?, single by Ella Taubert.  Colombian singer-songwriter from Bogotá who blends her Colombian roots with a recent rock-alternative model. This tune appears like a [personal conversation that can’t help but break into song.  It moves quickly, but the heart in the voice and words stays solid.  A song to put on repeat …you will be singing along soon.  Spanish.  Stream on Spotify and major platforms.

Historias de Flamenco, álbum by Antonio Rey.  One of many world’s greatest classical flamenco guitar gamers (who simply gained a Latin Grammy) listening to him, watching his fingers fly and caress the strings, is just a shifting expertise/  Eight songs (my favourite is Mexico en mi Corazon”)  which you can put in your earbuds and simply float away.  Stream on Spotify and main platforms.

Igual  que un Angel, single by Kali Uchis & Peso Pluma. The right collaboration. The American-born Columbian-American Kali Uchis and the Mexican Peso Pluma pairing off in a love tune dialog that strikes quietly alongside in a dreamscape of synths and  guitars. Even when you can’t observe the Spanish, you realize what they’re saying, Love. Stream in all places.

Cuando de la vida sea trago, single  by Carin Leon. “When life is a drink”. Genuine, Mexican heartbreak music, full with twangy guitars and tuba. However this isn’t your standard guys in boots and horns. Leon goals for the guts an he hits it.  This may make you rethink Mexican regional music.  Spanish. Stream on Spotify and main platforms
